In 2024 and 2025 I was delighted to be commissioned to create some public art to link to the annual Yardworks Festival at Glasgow’s amazing venue SWG3 famous for murals and graffiti art.

Yardworks Outside the Box 2024 – Mosaic Flower trail along Byres Road. yardworksgrid.com/outside-the-box Starting with a cheery Dandelion in Dalcross Street where the Home box QR code links to this website. It tells you all about the ideas behind the chosen flowers and leads you to a Scottish Thistle outside the famous Tennants Bar in Highburgh Road, some lucky white heather at Partick Cross, a Scottish Harebell at Roxburgh Street and last but not least Forget me nots at the junction with Vinecombe Street.

Yardworks Outside the Box 2025 – ‘Go Gettem Floyd’ outside the Brass Monkey Pub in Finnieston celebrates the grain mill heritage of the Anderston area of Glasgow. Work included spray painting and stencilling the box and making various mosaic motiffs to tell a story; a sheaf of rice, the old mill buildings and Floyd the cat chasing two mice around the base of the box.
