Gartnavel Hospital – ‘Art in the Gart”

From inception in October 2019 through to post pandemic. A wonderful project that became harder to deliver due to restrictions such as social distancing and other lockdown challenges; working with service users having to be 2m away, ward closures, short workshop duration, volunteers availability.

Horatios Garden Scotland 2022-2025

Following doing a qualification in Horticultural Therapy I answered an artist call out and was delighted to be appointed for mosaic sessions in this gorgeous garden setting.

Mosaics are great hand therapy for spinal patients! Patients spend a long time in the wards and have number of appointments during their days such as gym, hand therapy and ward activities. Despite this during small slots of time over the weeks patients created birdbaths, baubles and leaves for a small backsplash for the greenhouse.

Creative Craft Shows – October 2025 , March 2026

Demonstration stand with Make and Take as well as a daily 2 hour workshop for up to 16 people. I am going to be doing it all over again in October 2026.

Impact Arts 2026

A thoroughly enjoyable couple of sessions for an over 60’s group at their Craft Cafe in Elder Park Library. A series of mosaic birds were made to tie in with their local nature project.
